Hyundai i30 Channel 5 Film Sponsor

Watching the Green Mile on Channel 5 this Sunday, I noticed the sponsor for 5 films. Each person is shot with the car reenacting their favourite film making a humourous and yet fitting link between a car and films. Most are fairly humourous and are short enough to keep you entertained for the short gap between the film ending and the adverts. An innovative marketing strategy as the clips must be shown around eight times throughout the film, and are shown directly after or before the film, before the viewers have got up and left or lost attention. My personal favourite is the Jurassic Park one where the sound effects really emphasise, and pull away from the stereotype of car advertising.

  3. Ah these ads are brilliant! The ability to represent a whole film in one action is simplicity at its best! And it makes us all want to do the glass vibration thing at every available opportunity too....

  4. A refreshing modern take on the 'stereotypical' car advert.

I think if we could live our life through movies, we would :)

  6. which is the one with the four young people - will, emma, louise and jasper - getting ready to head bang? I'd like to download that but can't find it on YouTube.

  7. I couldn't find any of the adverts on YouTube Antony, only on the site I used for this one. I believe this is the one you're talking about:

  8. A shade brief - and dark, which means I can hardly see the fragrant Emma - but I'm grateful you went to so much trouble. Thanks.
