Listen; a one week project.

January 2010

This brief we had to research, develop and come up with a final outcome in 7 days. Here we had to persuade a target audience of our choice to smile more, lie, have good manners, dance, have a face to face conversation, or listen via digital media channels.

I based my project on persuading city dwellers (aged around 19-35) who own iPods to listen out for traffic on the streets. The number of young people being killed by cars is at a horrifying statistic, 500 every month in the UK, and taking the time to listen for traffic rather than carelessly walking out into roads could give more young people a chance to live their lives to the full.

The presentation boards are a visual research board, a board to show development, and a final outcome board. My final outcome is a digital advert shown on iPods and 4oD ad breaks, which also lead onto an informative microsite.
