Contraception Worth Talking About - NHS Advertising Campaign

These adverts have just been launched on television and I personally think they'll be a big hit. It's a hard subject to approach talking and thinking about but these adverts make sure it sounds easy, simple and friendly while retaining a serious edge.

The speech bubble style and the overlayed animation onto the real video image work well together and making it feel as if it could be anyone sat in those positions. The animation is pretty seamless and professional too, which shows the NHS are taking the campaign seriously. I think the adverts really shine and continue the designed, professional look that the NHS have with their adverts, from the hook stop smoking adverts, and alcohol units adverts we are all familiar with. However, what I find is these adverts get you talking, but do they actual encourage change and action?
